I am from Poway, CA and graduated from Poway High School. I then went to Lewis Clark State to further my education and play collegiate volleyball. I returned to San Diego and finished my BA in Liberal Studies at California State University San Marcos. 

I coach girls volleyball for Poway High School as well as San Diego Volleyball Club. I enjoy continuing to be involved in the sport! 

When I am not teaching or coaching, I enjoy being at the beach, mountains or anywhere outdoors. I like to stay active and enjoy anything hands on!

Since I love being active and hands on, my classroom is set up in a similar way! My classroom has a welcoming environment that fosters independent learners who enjoy learning in a variety of ways through building, writing, technology, and the arts and sciences.
