From Alpine to the coast, I was raised throughout San Diego County. I attended UC Berkeley, where I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in English. Considering law school, I enrolled at Northwestern University to complete a JD but quickly retreated to the literary arts where I completed my MA in literature. I am credentialed to teach art and English, and I’m thrilled about the opportunity to teach both at JCS this year!

When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and many rescue animals on our small organic-certified farm. I look forward to learning more about our middle school families throughout the year!
