Mrs. Hoffman has been teaching in various capacities for over ten years and is thrilled that her journey has brought her to JCS Mountain Oaks. She graduated from The Master’s College, where she earned her teaching credential in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies. After graduation, she moved overseas and taught third through fifth grade at an international school. During her time abroad, she met her husband and welcomed her first child. Upon returning to California, Mrs. Hoffman taught art part-time at several schools and community centers throughout San Diego.
In 2017, Mrs. Hoffman’s family returned to the same international school where she and her husband had met and continued working there until 2022. During this time, she began teaching the transitional kindergarten (TK) age group, a role she is excited to continue. Mrs. Hoffman is passionate about helping students transition from home to school, fostering a love of learning, cooperation, and independence. She is eagerly anticipating a wonderful year ahead.
