Ms. Erin specializes in the coordination of chaos. As a mom of five, she believes it’s practically in the job description!
At JCS Mountain Oaks, she serves as the Program Manager, where she enjoys supporting students, families, and staff each day. Ms. Erin is passionate about fostering the social-emotional well-being of every scholar. She believes in meeting each child where they are socially, emotionally, and academically, and strives to ensure every student feels seen, valued, empowered, accepted, and, most importantly, heard.
Ms. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Arts in Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Business Administration. Before joining the JCS family, she homeschooled her five children for 10 years, an experience that continues to shape her passion for personalized education and strong family-school partnerships.
Her five amazing children, ages 9, 12, 13, 17, and 19, keep life exciting! Her three younger daughters attend JCS Mountain Oaks, her son is a junior in high school, and her oldest daughter attends Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Between them, her family stays busy with sports and activities nearly every day. Ms. Erin also serves as the Parent Liaison for her son’s high school baseball team, adding one more volunteer role to her ever-growing list.
Behind the scenes is her incredible husband, Eli, affectionately known as Mr. Mom, the Duber (Dad Uber), Dad-Dash, Dance Dad, or Husband of the Year. After 20 years of marriage, he’s the one who keeps the family schedule running smoothly and everyone where they need to be, allowing Ms. Erin to spend her days fully present for her other kids; at JCS Mountain Oaks.
When she’s not at school or cheering from the sidelines, Ms. Erin enjoys spending time with her family, watercolor painting, listening to audiobooks, working on puzzles, playing games, and taking walks. She lovingly refers to her bustling household of seven as “the traveling circus,” and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Ms. Erin looks forward to welcoming students and families each day with a smile, a high five, and a commitment to making JCS Mountain Oaks a place where everyone feels they belong.
