Rachael Mattull and her family moved to California in 2018 from Boston, MA but they are originally from Tucson, Arizona. Before joining JCS Mountain Oaks, Mrs. Mattull was a K-5 intervention teacher and Home Study Educational Facilitator at our JCS Manzanita Program. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona and most recently earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Northeastern University. She has worked as a PE teacher, a Paraprofessional working with children with Autism and as a Reading and Math Intervention Teacher. She was inspired to become a teacher when she was a child and feels lucky that now she may now spend her days working with children.

She and her husband have two daughters and two Basset Hounds and you will find them most often at the beach. She loves hiking, camping and especially doing and teaching Zumba! She can’t wait to meet all of her scholars and looks forward to many years at JCS Mountain Oaks.
